Hello, I am Ryutaro Himeno. In this PDF, I would like to share a brief introduction to some of the research topics I have been working on with my colleagues and students.
Our work looks at everyday human movement and biological flow from a computational point of view. In particular, this introduction covers fall-risk assessment for older adults, motion analysis in sports, and fluid simulation of blood flow. I hope it gives you an easy-to-follow sense of what we are studying and why these topics matter.
